Yay! The lady from
HipKnits she say "yes!"
The eagle eyed amongst you
will spot my
deliberate (
ok, not deliberate just
incompetent) mistake.
I thought I'd have a little fun so if you leave a comment correctly describing the fault you could win a mystery skein of sock yarn from my stash. I'll get one of the kids to pick a name at random on the 5
th of November.

One row too many between the 8th and 9th cable cross overs? They look to be wider apart than all the others...
I'm even more incompetent - I can't tell you what's wrong. Toe-up - now that will be a challenge - not done one of those before. Can't wait. Will definitely be doing these before Della ;o) Abi x
No that's not it ... unless I have two errors and one of them I didn't spot Doh!
Some of the cabling looks a bit squiggly but think its just the shading of the wool, whatever it is its not glaringly obvious.
All of which just goes to show that the glaring error that your own eyes are drawn to every time you look at the sock because you know where it is, isn't so obvious to everyone else.
I debated whether to frog or not but now I am glad I didn't.
Keep looking...
I haven't cables before, os I have no idea of the corret terminology, but here goes my twopenn'orth. The cabling that goes up the centre of the foot (that looks a little like a plait) - did you start it off centre? It looks a little skew - if? Of course it just could be that centre photgraph, where the sock isn't blocked yet.
Keep guessing :o)
I thought I'd find the answer this morning!! Is the the first ssk on the left hand side of the sock (as if you were putting it on) happening a stitch or two to early? Abi x
Nope. Shall I give you a clue? Or another photo now I've blocked it?
No idea - I think they look ace. As do the toe-ups. Can I win just for saying that? ;-)
Yes please, another photo!! (I've got to avoid making the mistake after all, although it's obviously so minor it hardly matters!!) Abi x
